A supplier of outdoor line-of-sight communications equipment required a design which would survive in outdoor environments while being able to dissipate up to 25 W of heat.  The die-cast housing was used as a part of a system which can transmit and receive up to 45 mbps of data compared to conventional telephony base systems that are only able to transmit and receive up to 3 mbps of data.  The die-cast housing design was created and iteratively analyzed to produce an optimized design.  We then worked with the die-cast supplier to produce the tool and production parts
